Introduction
Astavakra geeta is one of the most precious spiritual literatures. The speciality of this literature is that, it is communicated in the same level with equal frequency and with same respect. While telling this book the impression of superior and inferior, is first of all, destroyed. This book is very rarely known or known very late to the seekers in their spiritual journey. One of the reason for that is the so called gurus would not allow their superiority to diminish among their devotees. Even if some guru or other tells their devotees about this book, they tell very wrong information about this book, as they don't want there devotees to leave them, or they don't want to loose the position they have acquired in the eyes of their devotees.
Respecting the learner teacher equality shown in this literature, lets discuss about this literature in detail as a whole with togetherness, dissolving all the boundaries of you and me into us. In fact, this is the main and most important teaching of this book.
As the name of this book depicts, the book is written in the form of conversation between the guru Astavakra and the devotee king Janak. There are several fables available about this literature. Lets not discuss about them, as fables are fables. Rather than valuing the history of this book, lets value the teachings given in this book.
The word "Geeta"literally means a song. So let's sing this beautiful song together in harmony!
